PNEUMATIC CYCLONE
Pneumatic cyclones are used for separating product from conveying air. Minimizes air loss from the system. The air and product mixture sucked by pneumatic fan enters the cyclone tangentially; materials more dense than air circulate around the cyclone inner surface due to centrifugal force and fall down to the bottom exit, while air separated from the mixture leaves the cyclone from top center. Amount of air to be discharged can be controlled by the throttle at cyclone’s exit.
